After four busy days at the NEC, Autosport International 2008 proved outstandingly successful for specialist transmission manufacturer, Quaife Engineering Ltd.
In addition, levels of interest were high across the full range of new gear kit and automatic torque biasing helical gear limited slip differential applications, for both fast road and motorsport use, with over three thousand 90 page Quaife catalogues ( http://www.quaife.co.uk/Online-Catalogue ) being distributed to interested parties from countries ranging from Israel to Sweden.
Having exhibited for the last sixteen years, Quaife's stand was something of a departure in its layout and appearance for 2008,comments Quaife's Marketing Manager, Peter Knivett. But we're delighted with the results that our hardworking team has achieved here and the response from Autosport International attendees - trade and individual - has been overwhelmingly positive, from both the domestic market and overseas. In addition, I'm convinced that the new Pistonheads section of the show increased the footfall on the stand from the tuner aftermarket audience, for which the Quaife ATB differential is a massively popular choice.
With significant business expansion via our specialist sportscar clients Caterham, Ginetta, Radical and Westfield, it bodes extremely well for Quaife Engineering's outlook in 2008 and beyond, reinforcing that this particular sector of the British motorsport industry is in rude health.
