The BTRDA are pleased to confirm that a new MG ZR Rally Challenge will run on all rounds of the 2009 BTRDA Rally Series. It is open to all MG ZR’s (and Rover 25 / 200’s) with an engine capacity of up to 1400cc.

CLASSES:
Cars will be entered and run in the appropriate BTRDA / Event class for the vehicle (Rally First, 1.4L or 1.4S) and will be seeded within the ‘up to 1400cc’ category, running in advance of the main field.
SCORING:
This is designed to recognise the potential performance of the MG ZR’s in the different 1400 classes.
MG ZR Rally Challenge points will be allocated using the traditional system of 20 points to the highest placed registered Challenge driver / co-driver, 18 for 2nd, 17 for 3rd etc. In addition 2 bonus points will added to the score of competitors in class 1.4L and 4 bonus points added to the score of competitors in Rally First cars, up to a maximum of 20 points per event.
The MG ZR Rally Challenge is organised by the BTRDA on behalf of competitors and runs as part of the BTRDA Rally Series. Competitors who use Silverstone Tyres will also be eligible for the BTRDA 1400 Championship points, awards and bonuses.
BTRDA Championship Regulations and Registration Forms will be available in December and will be sent out to all 2008 registered BTRDA Rally Series competitors. They will also be available to download from this site.
