The 2008 Rainworth Skoda Dukeries Rally takes place on Saturday June 14th. The compact event will offer 45 stage miles in the famous Sherwood Forest area of Nottinghamshire and is a round of the Silverstone Tyres BTRDA Rally Series incorporating the Silverstone Tyres Gold Star Championship, the Silverstone Tyres Silver Star Championship and the BTRDA 1400 Championship. New for 2008 is the BTRDA Rally First Challenge for unmodified rally cars up to 1400cc with extra classes at RF1.0 and RF1.4. The event is also a round of the MSA English Rally Championship and four Regional Association Championships; the Competition Car Insurance EMAMC Stage Rally Championship, the Roadrunner / Phoenix Awards ANEMMC Multi-Venue Rally Championship, the Kent Cams ANCC Stage Championship and the Ward Construction AEMC Stage Rally Championship.

The major change this year is that Rally HQ, Scrutineering, Documentation Start and Finish are all located at the completely refurbished Southwell Racecourse where there is ample space available. Thanks to support from both competitors and sponsors we are able to maintain a value for money entry fee whilst still providing an excellent event. To encourage competitors to sample forest stage rallying we again offer a reduced entry fee of £300 for any driver entering a forest event for the first time. This reduced entry fee is also available to Rally First competitors in Classes RF1.0 and RF1.4
