8th/9th March 2008: Lindholme Motor Sports Club is proud to announce the 31st running of its annual stages rally. A New feature this year will see the Historic rally split into National A and National B events. Once again there will be a Modern rally running on the Sunday. We very much welcome the support of our sponsors The Alternative Sign Centre, and (new for 2008) The Insurance Partnership, both of whom provide a very valuable contribution to help ensure the event’s success. This year is the 12th running of the Historic event, with this year the event being split into National A and National B events. The National A Historic event will start with 3 forest stages in the dark on the Saturday evening, and a further 8 stages on the Sunday, with a combined total of approximately 44 miles. We are delighted that the event is the first round of the Dunlop Gambia MSA British Historic Rally Championship, incorporating the HRCR Cup. The National B Historic event will follow the main event over the 8 stages on Sunday with a total mileage of 27 miles. The event is a round of the Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship and the ANWCC Historic Stage Rally Championship. The Modern event offers 11 forest stages totalling approximately 44 miles on the Sunday. The event is a round of the ANCC, ANEMMC, ANWCC and EMAMC regional association championships.
