SUPERDRIVE MOTORSPORTS CENTRE CELEBRATES A DECADE OF RALLYING

The usually tranquillity of the County Armagh countryside today resonated with the roar of rally cars as Ireland’s longest established rally school Superdrive Motorsports Centre near Portadown celebrated its 10^th Anniversary the way it knows best – Sideways!

Drivers including Irish Tarmac Super 1600 Champion Andrew Bushe, Northern Ireland Clubman’s Champion Liam Regan and Superdrive rally instructors both past and present, thrilled guests with high speed rides on the Superdrive Rally Stage.

Manager of Superdrive Motorsport Centre Safron Thomas said,

‘Ten years of business is a fantastic achievement. We are very proud of our centre and intend to continue living our philosophy of striving to provide the best value, professional motorsport entertainment in Ireland.

The Worshipful the Mayor of Craigavon Councillor Robert Smith, a motorsport fan himself, also attended the press event today.

‘Superdrive is a great compliment to the many other local attractions we have in the Craigavon area and has supported the local economy through tourism, employment and charity events.

‘I also I feel that its very important to have centres of this kind which are recognised by the governing body of motorsport. Superdrive plays an important role to encourage and educate drivers about how important it is to keep this type of driving for professional centres and not on the road.’ He said
